Carolyn ford

Carolyn Ford, Tennessee native, WSU graduate and SC resident teaching art at Limestone College, recently spent a week at Mission sgraffito carving "Southernisms" on a 30" two ton pipe. Her love of humorous, often irreverent, colorful colloquiums, slang, and exaggerated yarns from the south east take physical form in her low relief tondos. Ford's work is currently featured in Appalachia Now! An Interdisciplinary Survey of Contemporary Art in Southern Appalachia at the Asheville Art Museum in Asheville, NC and can also be viewed at www.carolynfordart.com.
